Sport with Sheree

We really enjoy our sports sessions with Sheree.  In these photos we are working on our underarm and overarm throws!  Everyone in Room 1 did really well with the activities - we all managed to throw our bean bags into hoops!

The Beasties

The Beasties have visited Room 1 and Room 2!  They left some treasures to help us with our writing.  We worked really hard to think about the characters in our story, the setting of our story and we used our imagination to write about why we were given a treasure.  We wrote some amazing stories!

Ruger the Magician

Today in Room 1 Ruger the Magician came to visit with his assistant Haley. He amazed Room 1 with his tricky card trick. All of the children were so impressed. Keegan and Ryan wanted to know how the trick

worked. Ruger said, "magicians never reveal their secrets!"

WOW! Discovery time was very exciting in Room 1 today! We had Science experiments, cars and chalk, train tracks, colouring, making gliders, finger painting, drawing, lego and much more!

The children worked together and self managed. Well done Room 1!

A Quick Visit to Japan

We got to visit Japan this morning...without leaving our classroom!  Hamish is currently in Japan so we got to learn about and have a go at video calling on Skype.  It was exciting to be able to see him and speak to him even though he is so far away.  We learned about where he is staying, the food he is eating, the weather and the exciting things he has been up to!

Magnificent Musical Mr Mould

We are thoroughly enjoying having Mr Mould working with us in our learning space.  Mr Mould has been teaching us how to play the ukulele.  He has also taken the ukulele to our team singing sessions so we have been able to sing along while he plays.
